Ceramic Membrane Element

Ceramic membranes, also known as inorganic ceramic membranes, are asymmetric membranes formed through special processes using inorganic ceramic materials. The inner walls of ceramic membrane tubes are densely packed with micropores. Under pressure, the feed liquid flows through or around the tube, allowing small molecules to pass while retaining larger ones—for separation, concentration, purification, and environmental protection. Ceramic membranes offer high separation efficiency, stable performance, strong chemical resistance, acid and alkali tolerance, resistance to organic solvents and microbes, high heat resistance, anti-fouling, excellent mechanical strength, good regenerability, simple operation, low energy consumption, easy cleaning, and long service life.
